Spring Season is about to begin!
(UPDATED 5/13/12; 6:38PM)
Practices will begin on Monday, May 14th as follows:
4pm to 6pm: 14B, 15B, 16R
6pm to 8pm: 16B, 17B
8pm to 10pm: 18R, 18B
Practices will be held on Monday and Wednesday evenings. We will also have practices on the following weekend/holiday days:
Saturday, May 19th (15's and above)
Monday, May 28th (normal night practice time)
Saturday, June 2nd (15's and above)
Saturday, June 23rd (for teams going to JN's only)
Times for weekend practices are - NOTE CHANGE OF TIMES FOR 18R AND 16B!!!
12pm to 2pm: 14B, 15B, 16R
2pm to 4pm: 18R, 17B
4pm to 6pm: 16B, 18B

Clinic Information
(Updated 5/1/12)
Clinic sessions will be available each Tuesday and Thursday – 1 ½ hours each (1 hour court training; 1/2 hour conditioning). Clinics will be held from 4pm to 5:30pm.
- The 4pm to 5:30pm clinic will begin in the LBCC SMALL GYM, then at 5pm will end the session in the Balcony or the BIG GYM
- All clinics will continue to be co-ed
- Clinics will cost $80 per month IF you pay on the first session of the month
If you choose to not pay the full month, the cost will continue to be $20 per session
We encourage you to pay the $80 even if your child will miss one or two sessions – it’s still a LOTcheaper that way!

1) College Commitments highlighting the current and previous High Line players who have gone on to continue their careers in college. This section also includes a link to our uncommited seniors as we continue to work on getting our players recruited and off to college.
2) Past Results which highlights the finishes of our High Line teams in previous years.
3) All Americans lists all of our players who have made the All Tournament Teams at the Junior Olympic Championships.

Check out the 16 Black Team Page under the "Teams" tab. It has been updated with all of the boys profiles and pictures along with team calendar and team photo gallery. We plan to have all the team's pages up and looking the same way within the next week or two. Time to get these boys exposure! |

UCI IS THE NCAA NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!
The UCI Anteaters Men's Volleyball Team took on USC in the NCAA National Championship on Saturday, May 5, 2012. This was a re-match (of sorts) of the 2009 championship match. In BOTH cases, UCI prevailed!
Congratulations to Chris Austin - High Line VBC 16 Black Head Coach - and the rest of the team. High Line was well represented in the stands! Thank you all for supporting the team and Chris!

LBCC Men's Volleyball Takes Major Western States Conference Awards!
High Line VBC is honored to have considerable representation in the WSC Conference Awards with Co-Head Coaches Matt Silva and Jonathan Charette being selected as Co-Coaches of the Year. Several High Line Alumnae received amazing awards including:
WSC Most Valuable Player of the Year - Max Wechsung
WSC First Team Honors - Aniefre Etim-Thomas and Dylan Marquess
WSC Second Team Honors - Brett Anema and Dean Pollema
Congratulations to all of the LBCC Men's Volleyball team on a fantastic season!

LBCC Men's Volleyball ARE THE STATE CHAMPIONS!!! HUGE CONGRATULATIONS TO THE LBCC MEN'S VOLLEYBALL TEAM!
Thanks, as well, to all of you who supported the team. High Line and LBCC have a terrific relationship with many of the team being High Line Alum. All of these men worked very hard this year, and it paid off!
Additional congratulations to the coaches - Matt Silva, Jonathan Charette, and Brett Massetti - great job!

MANDATORY PARENT AND PLAYER MEETING
NOTE CHANGE OF DATE!!!
When: Sunday, May 20th
Where: LBCC Small Gym
Time: 7pm
Bring: $800 Spring Dues (if not already paid)
This meeting will include all final JN information as well as filling out of Subway order forms. ALL PLAYERS MUST BE PRESENT!!! Returning parents also need to attend!

SUMMER FUN HAS BEGUN!
We had two of our athletes from our 16 Black team compete in the AAU Beach Volleyball tournament in Manhattan Beach this past weekend (April 15th). Congrats to Chandler Gibb and Ryan Bahadursingh for their 3rd Place finish in the Boys 16 and Under Division!
